500 euros (680 US$) notes are called Bin Laden in Spain, because everyone has heard about them, but nobody are able to find them. Spanish Tax Office is trying.

Guerrilla marketing

In this case it's been an institution who decided to go for it, the national authority for road traffic, Dirección General de Tráfico .

They have thought that the one new way to curb road accidents could be to show car wrecks in the middle of a popular square in Madrid.

Time will say whether it worked. I'll say it here too.

Build your own "factory"

A great idea. Seth Godin is looking for people to share an office in NY. The reason? In his own words, "cross-pollination". Screenwriters, entrepreneurs with tiny teams, grantwriters, marketers, consultants, bloggers... are invited.

Artists have been doing that for very long: Cabaret Voltaire, Warhol's Factory, or Merce/J.Cage/Rauschenberg at Black Mountain College, among many others.... In Spain, Buñuel, Dalí, Alberti and García Lorca for instance... and with very good results.
